Welcome
Broken Hill Agfair is a two-day agricultural field day and the biggest biennial event on the Broken Hill and the West Darling region calendar.
The next event will be held Friday 7th and Saturday 8th May 2010.
Notice to Agfair Exhibitors and Prospective Exhibitors
The Agfair Committee has decided upon making telemetry and/or remote sensing a Special Focus for Agfair 2010.
Exhibitors are asked to keep this in mind when planning their exhibits for Agfair.
Pastoralists operating large remote properties are keenly interested in remote sensing technologies to improve their efficiencies. Agfair will offer an opportunity for Pastoralists to see what is on offer at one location and make comparisons.
Your support for this Special Focus theme will be very much appreciated.
Agfair is held at the Broken Hill racecourse and hosts around 300 exhibitors. Participants and exhibitors come from all parts of Australia and up to 10,000 patrons have attended the field days in the past. Exhibitors display and sell a full range of goods and equipment for town and country, and the most up-to-date information and research relating to pastoral business is also available.
The pavilions include the very popular Woolshed Pavilion which hosts cooking and gardening demonstrations, fashion parades, dancing and musical entertainment as well as a wide number of special interest exhibitors selling food, produce, clothing and jewellery just to name a few.
Previous major attractions include;
Celebrity Chefs:
Stefano de Pieri
